There never seems to be enough time in the day, or even in the year. Between work and family, you and your clients promise to devote attention to their wellbeing but often run out of time. Luckily, every four years, we have an extra 24 hours at our disposal. Today is Leap Day, and there is no better way to use that precious extra time than at the spa, relaxing and rejuvenating. Here are five Leap Day spa specials worth spending that extra day.
Island Spa Catalina (Avalon, CA) has a $29 refresher manicure (25 minutes) on the menu for Leap Year Weekend. This treatment includes cuticle care, exfoliation, and polish.
Not limited to one day, Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa (Atlantic City) has an overnight package (starting at $229) available today only. It includes accommodations, a Mini Massage (30 minutes) and Facial (30 minutes) at Spa Toccare, two cocktails at one of the onsite bars, and two comedy club tickets. Spa Toccare has additional specials, including a Swedish Massage and Borgata Glow Facial ($229, 1 hour 40 minutes), two facial waxing services ($29), and a Classic Manicure and Express Pedicure ($58).
L’Auberge Del Mar (San Diego) is making 2016 extra sweet with a Leap Year sale. Accommodations include a nightly $29 food and beverage credit. Guests get an extra day to enjoy the February specials at Spa L’Auberge as well and can choose from Tantalizing Tootsies ($65, 50 minutes), Loves Natural Glow Facial ($185, 50 minutes), and more.
Miramonte Resort and Spa is also offering a daily $29 credit to enjoy the resort even more. It’s just enough to cover a day pass to the Well Spa among other amenities. Spa-goers can also infuse vitamin C from the Forever Young Facial ($120, 60 minutes) to extend their youth—it brightens, evens, and firms—with the extra day.
The Spa at La Costa (San Diego) has a Leap Year Special: Extra Day, Extra Spa Treatment, which includes one additional add-on 50-minute treatment for $99 when booking any full-price spa service.
