In celebration of Earth Month, Aveda will host “Trashion Jam,” a competition that is sure to get the creative juices flowing on April 30. Salons are invited to create a “trash couture” outfit made from trash and other eco-friendly and recycled materials, complete with hair, makeup, and styling. Each salon can enter one model and will have one minute to showcase the completed look, concept, and materials on stage. At the end of the night, a panel of expert judges will vote on the best hair, makeup, “trashion” outfit, and best overall look. The competition will take place at The Triple Door in Seattle.
