Benchmark Hospitality International has named Bill Lee as general manager and Tony Aslanian as director of sales and marketing for The Grove Resort & Spa (Orlando, FL). The Grove Resort & Spa is part of the Benchmark Resorts & Hotels brand, and is scheduled to open 184 of its suites this November. The property will also include Escape Spa and a fitness center. Along with Lee and Aslanian, the Grove’s professional sales team was also announced and includes Ashley Mayo Gobsion and Peter Gruenthal as senior sales managers. “It is an honor to formally welcome Bill, Tony, and the entire sales and marketing team to this remarkable new resort,” says Todd Felsen, senior vice president operations for Benchmark Hospitality International. “They represent the best in experience and leadership, and are already making their mark on The Grove Resort & Spa’s success during our pre-opening period. Bill Lee, a University of Central Florida graduate, brings leadership experience from prior roles at Starwood Hotels & Resorts and Rock Resorts International. Tony Aslanian, a SUNY Albany graduate, has held high-level sales and marketing leadership positions for Hilton Worldwide, Marriott International, and for multiple independent hotel management companies.
