Canyon Ranch Names New Chief Marketing Officer

Kathleen Shea, chief marketing officer for Canyon RanchCanyon Ranch, a leading pioneer in wellness for nearly 40 years, recently announced the appointment of luxury hospitality specialist Kathleen Shea as chief marketing officer. Shea joins other Canyon Ranch executives with offices in Fort Worth, TX, in addition to extensive travel to the various Canyon Ranch locations across the U.S. Her previous experience includes serving as vice president of sales and marketing at Mandarin Oriental, Four Seasons, and Taj Hotels Resorts & Palaces where she led innovative, multifaceted programs, which resulted in significant business growth. During this role, she launched six Mandarin Oriental properties in the Americas, developed new sales offices in 15 locations, and helped create the Taj Royal Attaché at The Pierre, which led to Shea receiving a Special Marketing Achievement award. spiritual wellness center at Canyon Ranch (Tucson, AZ)As Canyon Ranch expands to new audiences, Shea’s experience growing brand portfolios, fostering award winning teams, and developing integrated sales, marketing, and public relations campaigns will be beneficial to the luxury spa and resort brand. In her new role as chief marketing officer, Shea will lead initiatives for the recently expanded Canyon Ranch SpaClub at Sea, which is currently on 20 cruise ships, Canyon Ranch SpaClub at The Venetian and The Palazzo (Las Vegas), and the wellspring resorts Canyon Ranch (Tucson, AZ) and Canyon Ranch in Lenox (MA). She will also direct the sales, marketing, and public relations efforts for the newly opened Canyon Ranch Wellness Resort at Kaplankaya (Turkey).
