American Spa to Launch CBD Summit in Denver this August

According to cannabis industry research firm The Brightfield Group, the market for CBD-based hemp products is expected to reach $22 billion by 2022. At the forefront of CBD education and coverage since first reporting on the trend in 2016, American Spa is launching the American Spa CBD Summit, an exciting event that will bring together spa professionals, product manufacturers, and other health and wellness professionals in an educational environment to learn best practices for incorporating CBD into their offerings. The event, which is designed to clear up confusion surrounding the buzzy ingredient, is scheduled to take place August 4-6, 2019 in Denver.

“We have been watching and reporting on CBD for the past several years and have been amazed and inspired by the explosive growth of this market,” says Julie Keller Callaghan, event founder and editor-in-chief and publisher of American Spa. “My team has, by necessity, become CBD experts, and we look forward to creating a conference that will help attendees sift through the confusing influx of information on CBD and more effectively tap into an exciting and incredibly lucrative market.”

With topics curated by American Spa’s seasoned editorial team, the event will feature expert speakers who will offer tangible tools, solutions, and strategies to help decision-makers and providers tap into this multi-billion-dollar industry. Attendees will learn:

  • Best practices and strategies for selling, marketing, and promoting CBD products and treatments
  • The science behind CBD
  • The many benefits of CBD
  • Advice for selecting an effective CBD brand
  • Legal, insurance, and liability information
  • Tips for answering client’s CBD questions
  • How to spot weedwashing when it comes to CBD
  • Advice for managing social media and other promotions amid “Illegal Substances” rules and regulations
  • And much more

In addition to education, the event will also include a showcase area where attendees can discover CBD brands, network, and experience CBD treatments. With two levels of attendance, the Summit offers the Three-Day VIP Pass ($450 through April 19; $500 through June 7; $550 after June 8), which features an opening night VIP party with early access to the showcase area, access to the full conference program, product showcases, meals, and the cocktail reception; and the Two-Day Pass ($350 through April 19; $400 through June 7; $450 after June 8), which includes access to the full conference program, product showcases, meals, and the cocktail reception.
