The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane is partnering with British perfume house Penhaligon’s to launch a luxury experience. The immersive treatment celebrates The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. The treatment was created by senior spa director Taffryn Ellis and the team at the luxury perfume house. The two Penhaligon’s Royal Relaxation experiences are designed to awaken all the senses with fragrance. The massage treatments use Penhaligon’s newly launched dry body oils in two best-selling scents, Halfeti, an intoxicating mix of rose, grapefruit and spice, and Empressa, a sparkling mix of blood orange, peach, cassis and vanilla.
The Penhaligon’s Bed of Roses massage inspired by the Halfeti, a fragrance of the black rose while Penhaligon’s Enchanting Voyage massage, uses the Empressa fragrance, a blend of damscena rose, woods, and spices. The treatments begins with a fragrance questionnaire for each guest to personalize the experience. Guests then enter a treatment room fragranced with Halfeti or Empressa, with the soft sounds of a bespoke playlist. Guests can choose a 60-minute or 90-minute body massage complete with Penhaligon’s dry body oil. The experience is concluded with a Penhaligon’s scalp massage using Penhaligon’s hair oil, and 45 minutes in a private, fragranced relaxation pod to leave guests feeling deeply pampered.
