Earth Day Celebration Takes Center Stage

With Earth Day arriving soon, it is a great chance to show guests how important the environment is to you and your spa. Earth Day serves as a call to action, uniting voices around the globe in support of a healthy planet. Likewise, many hotels showed their commitment to the environment. For example, L’Auberge Del Mar (CA) is celebrating Earth Day with a So Cal-style paddle out, as well as eco-friendly dining, cocktail, and spa specials. "At L'Auberge Del Mar, we strive to incorporate earth-friendly practices into our daily business wherever possible," says vice president and managing director Michael Slosser. "Celebrating Earth Day helps to remind us of the importance of our recycling, energy saving and other on-going green initiatives. It also allows our guests to share in our mission and be a part of these efforts too." To raise awareness for ocean preservation, L'Auberge Del Mar will host the Ocean Preservation Paddle Out on the morning of April 22, followed by an eco-friendly Lovely Lavender Lemonade cocktail in the hotel’s Living Room Bar, made from organic lavender vodka, strawberries, mint, and lemonade. Inspired by the sea, Spa L'Auberge offers a discount on the earth- and ocean-friendly Ocean Body Indulgence ($230, 1 hour 50 minutes), which includes a full body exfoliation, followed by a detoxifying body wrap and a hydrating body massage.
