Wellness has become a very popular buzzword around spas and in everyday life. Depending on when and where the term wellness pops up, it has many different definitions. At Montage Deer Valley (Park City, UT), the resort's newest healthy initiative, The Elements of Wellness (starting at $735 per night) allows guests to customize their own version of wellness with a host of spa offerings that cater to the mind, body, and soul. Each visitor is allotted six Elements credits per day and with Spa Montage concierge guidance can apply them to services in three distinct categories of wellbeing: indulge, energize, and reconnect. Indulge includes pampering spa treatments, energize features fitness-focused activities like mountain biking, and reconnect targets the mind with options like guided meditation. Staff at the spa hopes to assist in taking spa-goers' bodies, minds, and spirits to a new level of calm, balance, and complete joy during their stay that naturally leads to a lifetime of health.
