Though Glenwood Hot Springs has always been a leader in green energy sources, today it is using energy-efficient technology and state-of-the-art materials for a healthier, cleaner environment for both guests and the surrounding community. In response to an energy challenge by CLEER (Clean Energy Economy for the Region), Glenwood Hot Springs upgraded lighting fixtures property-wide, modernized outdated appliances, and replaced energy-draining hot water heaters with 97 percent efficient ones. Furthermore, green energy means lower energy costs and as Gary Bosco, Glenwood Hot Springs facilities manager notes, “Keeping costs down reduces expenses to everyone, with our visitors being the ultimate beneficiaries.”
