USA Field Hockey announced a premier partnership with glōProfessional. The multi-year agreement will feature glo on the front of the Women’s National Team jersey and represents the first ever corporate advertiser on the Women’s National Team uniform. As the official uniform sponsor, the glō brand will receive placement on the front of the Women’s National Team jersey and podium suits. In addition, the glō brand will have prominent placement across all National USA Field Hockey events and media. glōProfessional will also partner with USA Field Hockey on the Sun Safe Play initiative, an educational program designed to raise awareness on the importance of playing and practicing safely in the sun and the prevention of melanoma and skin cancer. “Damaging UV rays can pass through clouds, haze and even windows so it is important to wear sun protection when you are inside as well as outside," says Lisa Bookman, director of marketing for glōProfessional. The U.S. Women’s National Team will reveal its new uniforms on May 19, in the first match of a four game series against Canada in Vancouver, British Columbia.
