I'm a huge fan and avid watcher of "Dancing with the Stars" (DWTS), so I was excited to hear that Golden Door (Escondido, CA) will be offering guests a chance to participate in Dance Week Feb 8-10, which will be hosted by Karina Smirnoff, the show's reigning champion. If you watch the show, you know that even more impressive than the contestant's dance moves is the rapid pace in which all the exercising whips them into shape. (Last season, Ricki Lake dropped 25 lbs. and 2 dress sizes.) In addition to teaching a series of exclusive dance lessons, Karina will also share with guests her inspirational journey and be available for photos during a special presentation. The three-day getaway will also include customized spa treatments, garden-to-plate cuisine, and fitness classes.
"I have been a fan of Golden Door for years, and I couldn't be more excited to for my DanceFIT program here," says Karina. "We're going to dance, get in shape, and have a ton of fun."
In my opinion, the only way this event could get any better would be if fellow DWTS instructor Maksim Chmerkovskiy were available for private lessons!
