There’s no better time of year to debut a brand-spanking-new fitness center than January 1. That’s just what Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas did to ring in 2016. The state-of-the-art Fitness Center features Matrix Fitness equipment with virtual active technology, which allows guests to experience realistic journeys along famous paths and historic cities. Talk about a travel workout routine. Internet and a fully interactive media platform keep guests connected, and motivated. Says general manager Mark Hellrung, “This high-tech equipment paired with customized Four Seasons service creates an exceptional workout experience in a sleek, modern environment, allowing our guests to continue their exercise regimen while travelling.” Though Vegas is not known for its sustainability, the Fitness Center includes eco-friendly rubberized flooring, which has a bonus of comfort and lower injury risk. The picturesque landscaping is also in view through floor-to-ceiling windows. A total-body workout is a breeze with these high-tech highlights:
- Treadmills feature virtual training options and integrated, touchscreen technology, transporting users to the world’s most famous locations via lifelike HD footage that turns workouts into an adventure.
- A My Ride Spin Bike features an oversized screen offering virtual coaching, group classes, and HD forward motion views that take indoor cycling to new heights.
- Ascent Trainers feature response incline adjustment, variable stride length, a patented suspension design and constant acceleration rate, offering a workout that engages various muscles.
- Design highlights include sustainable, eco-friendly, rubberised flooring, which provides comfort and minimises risk of injury. Views of the Hotel’s lushly landscaped outdoor Fountain Terrace are visible through floor-to-ceiling windows.
The Fitness Center isn’t the only update to The Spa, which also debuted a new Nail Bar offering customized manicure and pedicure services. Check out our March issue for the inside scoop on the Nail Bar.
