Lifestyle Reboot

For those who want to make sustainable changes in their health, Rancho Valencia Resort & Spa (Santa Fe, CA) has partnered with Lifewellness Institute (San Diego) to launch the Wellness Collective, a customized integrated health and wellness program with a variety of workshops, lectures, and activities related to the science of epigenetics. Based on the sequencing of the human genome and the idea that genes respond to wellbeing and self-care, the program features six chapters, each 60 days in length. The chapters present an opportunity to transform a particular area of life: Movement & Fitness, Attitude & Perspective, Nutrition & Toxicity, Sleep & Respite, Relationships & Connection, Stress & Balance. The Wellness Collective is available to Rancho Valencia spa members as well as guests and locals as part of a three-, five-, or seven-day retreat, which includes accommodations; a consultation; daily spa meals; personal training; unlimited fitness classes; a daily spa treatment, a welcome gift, and lectures. All retreat participants may also schedule one-on-one time with E. Lee Rice, D.O., founder and CEO of the Lifewellness Institute. Says spa and fitness director Kristi Dickinson, “We wanted to combine the already incredible wellness experience and offerings available at Rancho Valencia with a personalized plan from Lifewellness Institute to create a transformative program for long-term health and wellness.”
