Combining the classic cocktail's fresh flavors of tequila, triple sec, lime, and more, the expert mixology teams at various Loews properties have concocted margarita recipes for guests and locals alike to enjoy. "Loews Hotels are celebrating by offering margaritas that say as much about the cocktail as they do about the destination," says Mark Weiss, senior vice president of food & beverage at Loews Hotels & Resorts. "This is another opportunity for Loews' bartenders to showcase their creativity for our guests and diners." Taking inspiration from local culture and ingredients, here are a few of innovative margarita recipes to enjoy on National Margarita Day and beyond.

Loews Boston Hotel - "Citrus Agave & Sage Margarita" from Precinct Kitchen + Bar

  • 2 oz Avion Tequila
  • .5 oz lime juice
  • .5 oz agave nectar
  • Sage leaf


  1. Shake, coupe, strain, and garnish with sage leaf. 


Loews Vanderbilt Hotel - "The Rosarita" is a low calorie cocktail inspired by the hotel's new fitness program, Balance with Erin Oprea

  • 1.25 oz Patron Silver Tequila
  • 1.75 oz fresh lemon juice
  • .5 oz agave nectar
  • 1.5 bar spoons fresh pomegranate seeds
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary


  1. Combine all ingredients into mixing tin, muddle, add ice and shake.
  2. Double strain into ice filled old fashioned glass.
  3. Garnish with ½ a rosemary sprig.


Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel - "Fire & Lime" from Ocean & Vine

  • 1.5 oz tequila
  • .5 oz triple sec
  • 1 oz apple juice
  • 1 oz ginger lemonade


  1. Combine ingredients, shake, strain over new ice in salt-rimmed glass.
