Rustic Relaxation Rules Yoga Retreat

spa at whiteface lodgeAs hybrid yoga and more creative practices are popping up in spas across the country, yoga retreats are getting a reboot too. This Sunday, yogis can channel the restorative power of the Adirondacks at Whiteface Lodge (Lake Placid, NY). Led by renowned yoga instructor Mim Franz, the Nourish Yoga Retreat ($40) promises to nurture the mind and body. Franz will teach a form-focused class to help participants boost energy and metabolism and a restorative yoga session to end the day on a calm note. Alongside yoga classes, Whiteface Lodge’s own executive chef David Haick will offer culinary sessions to reinforce the importance of mind-body wellness. Retreat participants will also receive 25 percent off same-day spa treatments at The Spa at Whiteface Lodge and 25 percent off same-day meals, including the breakfast buffet. “Our Nourish Yoga Retreat will address all aspects of wellness and will reinforce the importance of nourishing the mind and body,” says spa director Jamie Costa. “Guests will walk away feeling revitalized and will come away with the tools they need to make healthy lifestyle choices at home.”
