On a recent trip to Los Cabos, Mexico, American Spa's publisher and editor-in-chief Julie Keller Callaghan got to explore the gorgeous Montage Los Cabos, home to the divine Spa Montage. Inspired by the traditional Mexican folklore surrounding the Tree of Life, as well as the historic Torote tree that graces the entrance to the resort, the spa offers 40,000-square-feet of relaxing sanctuary on the Santa Maria Bay, and at the helm of the retreat is Montage Los Cabos's spa and wellness curator, Maxime Cormier. Cormier, who boasts 19 years of experience in the spa and wellness industries, joined the Montage team in 2018, having previously held positions at The Hartling Group, Rosewood Hotels and Resorts, Orient-Express, and more.
