Internet Powerful Force of Social Change

Barbara Caplan, keynote speaker at Spacifically 2000 at the Los Angeles Westin Bonaventure October 25th through the 28th, calls the Internet "the most powerful force of change in society today."

Caplan drove home the message 'boot up or bow out', to the Spacifically audience, stressing the power of the Internet to serve customers and develop new markets.

The Internet is the fastest growing technology in the history of the United States. It has taken only four years for the Internet to reach a penetration of 50 million users compared with 16 years for the PC, 13 years for television and 38 years for radio.
