Marilyn Monroe Spas to Open Beauty Institute

Marilyn Monroe Spas, a national spa brand with 10 locations currently open in four states, announced the launch of its Marilyn Monroe Spas Beauty and Glamour Institute. Slated to open in early 2016, it will provide technical and business education for individuals seeking to become a part of the salon, spa, and beauty industry. Redefining excellence in cosmetology education is a long-time dream of spa industry veteran, Niki T. Kearn, Marilyn Monroe Spas founder and board member. Her vision is to create an unprecedented educational experience for driven, passionate students through the creation of a nationwide, privately owned collection of top tier teaching institutes. “I am ecstatic to see this career-long vision come to fruition,” says Kearn. “Too often, beauty school is seen as a last resort, not as a serious career. We are developing not only the most highly skilled technicians, but also well-rounded, savvy business people in a professional and prestigious environment.”

The Marilyn Monroe Spas Beauty and Glamour Institute intends to enhance the beauty education industry by creating a premium education experience and cultivating qualified franchise owners for the growing Marilyn Monroe Spas network. “Tying the most glamorous woman in the world to a beauty institute is new, innovative, and completely organic to the Marilyn Monroe brand” says Nick Woodhouse, president and chief marketing officer for Authentic Brands Group, owner of the Estate of Marilyn Monroe. “Our partnership with Marilyn Monroe Spas continues to grow and we are excited for this expansion.”
