JCR Holdings has invested $20 million in Marilyn Monroe Spas to help fund the brand’s global expansion plans. This includes the franchising of its Nail Lounges, which focus on manicures, pedicures, and waxing treatments, and Glamour Rooms, which offer a of variety facials, makeup applications, hair services, and body treatments. “There is an obvious gap in the existing spa and beauty market across the nation that Marilyn Monroe Spas are able to fill,” says Fabricio Bossle, managing partner of JCR Holdings. “Throughout my due diligence process, I found that the brand is exceeding customer’s expectations with its level of service, quality of products, and price points. I am confident that this brand will take the spa industry by storm.” The investment will also support the creation of the Marilyn Monroe Spa and Glamour Institute, a concept that will provide technical and business education to aspiring spa and beauty students. “The enthusiasm in the Marilyn Monroe Spas brand since we launched the concept in 2012 is outstanding, from both customers and the investment community,” says executive chairman Allen Al R. Weiss. “This investment will allow us to accelerate our expansion plans through our franchise opportunities and more.”
