Marinello Schools of Beauty was named the winner of the 9th Annual International Competition, which was held on May 12, at the Marinello San Francisco campus. More than 100 partipants competed from 14 schools, including 13 Marinello campuses and IBW Beauty Schools of Japan. They gathered to create rock star themed looks in haircutting, hairstyling, and nail art. First place in the haircutting contest was awarded to Clifford Jackson, while Cristen Hernandez took home the first prize for hairstyling. Nikki Jett was awarded first prize in the nail art category.
