According to a Facebook post by the Spark AR platform, the company behind Instagram’s face filters, all augmented reality filters that depict cosmetic surgery will be removed, as the company is attempting to re-evaluate its existing policies as they relate to wellbeing. The company is also getting rid of all effects associated with plastic surgery from the Instagram Effect Gallery, and postponing the approval of new such effects.
