To meet the demand of Austin spa-goers, the third location of Viva Day Spa recently made its debut, bringing medical esthetics treatments into the mix. Located in Domain Northside, a mixed-use shopping center that’s quickly becoming a hot spot in the city, the spa is ideally situated to meet a variety of skincare needs. The spa’s many treatments—massage, facials, nailcare, hair removal, men’s services, and medical spa treatments—are already receiving positive feedback. The carefully curated non-surgical medical spa treatments include the latest injectables like Kybella, laser treatments, and skin rejuvenation. “With the advancement of medical spa services and the natural-looking results they now deliver, we felt it was an organic progression of the services we’ve been delivering to Austin for the past 11 years,” says cofounder Shannon Mouser. The 7,000-square-foot location features 14 treatment rooms, three relaxation lounges, two infrared saunas, and a dedicated nailcare area. One Relaxation Lounge is designed specifically to host spa parties and groups, and a separate large space is dedicated to hand-selected artisan gifts, cosmetics, and jewelry by New York designer Eli Halili. In designing the space, the owners wanted it to feel relaxing, indulgent, and unpretentious. “Our goal was to create a spa experience that nurtured our guests mind, body, and spirit, while also empowering them with actionable information about wellness and self-care,” says Mouser. “We offer spa treatments that not only relieve stress and help guests relax, they also leave them feeling refreshed, renewed, and beautiful.”
