U.S. Market for Non-Surgical Procedures Skyrockets

According to market researcher Kline, non-surgical procedures such as fillers and laser treatments have grown by 500 percent in the last 20 years and continue to show strength. A recently published report, Professional Aesthetics: U.S. Market Analysis and Opportunities, shows a 7.5 percenti ncrease in sales of professional aesthetics products in 2012. The report attributed this increase to the expanding variety of treatments available, as well as to the ease and the relative affordability of procedures that can be scheduled during lunch hours. The equipment used for treatments is also evolving to feature multiple attachments and functionalities.
