Spa Nalai Park Hyatt New York meditation month

Spa Nalai Park Hyatt New York meditation monthThe month of May is the perfect time for spa-goers to refresh mind, body, and soul. It is Meditation Month after all, and wellness businesses around the country are finding creative ways to introduce the benefits of mindfulness and meditation to everyone. Spa Nalai at Park Hyatt New York has joined forces with New York City’s premier meditation studio, MNDFL, to introduce MNDFL In Residence. The weeklong sessions will offer both hotel guests and locals a new experience to promote wellness of the mind through guided meditation sessions. Hosted in Spa Nalai’s lounge on the 25th floor, these limited-time thematic classes will be led by MNDFL’s acclaimed instructors to provide guests the tools to approach their day with a renewed and refreshed perspective.

Taking place next week, Spa Nalai will offer a series of 45-minute morning and evening meditation sessions (starting at $50). Morning sessions will be available at 7:30 am (Breath) and 8:30 am (Intentions) May 24th and May 26th to promote inner serenity as well as help participants approach the day with a personal intention. Two evening sessions will be held at 6:00 pm (Heart) and 7:00 pm (Sleep) on May 25th with the objective to connect with the heart and cleanse the mind for a smooth transition to sleep. Each session begins with a brief introduction by a MNDFL instructor followed by a guided practice and concludes with time for instructors to address any questions. Those who wish to enhance their meditative journey can combine their MNDFL experience with one of the spa’s 60-minute artisanal treatments at a promotional rate (starting at $250). “As part of our core concept in supporting our guests in their quest for holistic serenity, Spa Nalai has collaborated with MNDFL to promote cognitive wellbeing in a serene refuge,” says spa director Amy Olthoff. “This partnership organically complements our existing offerings, allowing us to promote wellness both inside and out.”
