Miami is launching its first-ever Miami Spa Month this July 2008. More than 20 of Miami's premier spas will offer $99 treatments — representing a savings of 50% or more off the retail value.
Organized by the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) along with Presenting Sponsor America Express, Miami Spa Month is one of the only events of its kind where a destination offers month-long special price incentive for visitors and locals alike.

Treatments offered by the spas during Miami Spa Month include aromatherapy facials, Oriental foot therapy, a 30-minute body polish followed by a 30-minute back massage, a 90-minute 'ocean wrap' and a milk and honey massage with organic scalp treatment. One particularly creative offering, entitled 'Journey to Havana,' is inspired by Miami's popular Mojito cocktail and includes a treatment with mint oil, sugar body scrub and Vichy shower water massage.
