Mii Amo (Sedona, AZ), a destination spa, announced the appointment of two new members to its management team. Robert Vance has been named spa director and Danielle Fryer, RDN, CSSD, CFT, has been appointed as fitness director. Vance will oversee the guest experience at Mii amo as well as daily spa operations, training of staff, and implementation of retreats and workshops. "Robert brings extensive spa expertise and an engaging personality to this important position," says Chris Bird, general manager of Mii amo. "Mii amo delivers a highly personalized, luxury experience to each guest, and I am confident Robert will help raise the bar ever higher for our service and operations." Robert comes to Mii Amo with more than 12 years in the wellness industry, and he continuously shares his leadership abilities with key spa organizations. He is involved in the International Spa Association (ISPA) as a member of the board of directors as well as co-chair of multiple committees. He is also a member of the Washington Spa Alliance (WSPA), the Day Spa Association, and sat as a member on the Florida Gulf Coast University's Spa Management Advisory Board. As fitness director, Fryer is responsible for overseeing Mii amo's fitness program, including the creation of fitness classes and one-on-one nutrition counseling. "We welcome Danielle and the expertise she brings from a career of competitive sports and training of athletes," says Bird. "Her fitness classes add a new dimension to Mii amo, one that will appeal to the more athletically inclined guests as well as those who want to push their workout to the next level.
