Due to a recent report from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics that projected massage therapist employment to grow 19 percent between 2008 and 2018, the National Massage Therapy Institute (NMTI) created new initiatives for students and graduates interested in a spa career. Highlights of the new NMTI initiatives include massage therapy program enhancements for a more comprehensive education, a student clinic rewards program, and online booking where students receive valuable hands-on experience and members receive affordable massages. NMTI has also expanded online communications with the launch of its new website http://www.nmti.edu.
