The 11th annual Global Wellness Summit (GWS) will take place next year at The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida Oct. 9-11. This invitation-only international gathering brings together leaders and visionaries to positively shape the future of the $3.72 trillion global wellness industry. The Summit attracts delegates from more than 40 countries and has been held in Tyrol, Austria, Bali, Indonesia, New Delhi, India, Mexico City, Mexico, Marrakech, Morocco, Interlaken, Switzerland, and Istanbul, Turkey. The location changes each year, but the goal of bringing together top-level decision makers from around the world to spend time shaping the future of the wellness industries has remained constant. The Summit also ensures that attendees exchange ideas, debate, and strategize for the good of the wellness industry, the consumers it serves, and for the planet as a whole.
Next year’s 2017 GWS location, The Breakers, is known as a beloved grand dame hotel and for hosting the rich and famous since it first opened in 1896. The Spa at The Breakers has recently undergone an $8 million renovation designed by spa consultant Sylvia Sepielli of Sylvia Planning And Design (SPAd). The spa incorporates the resort’s Italian Renaissance style and draws inspiration from its oceanfront locale throughout its 20,000 square feet and 17 treatment rooms.
