Beautiful Rights Beauty Brand Launches to Promote Women’s Rights

Makeup artist Kristen Leonard launched the Beautiful Rights beauty line to remind women to speak up and protect women’s rights. This new, cause-driven makeup initiative was created to ensure that women’s rights continue to have a voice in our country’s future. To serve this mission, the brand donates 20 percent of its sales to a variety of organizations that support women’s rights, including Emily’s List, Lambda Legal, Legal Momentum, and Planned Parenthood. The brand offers quality beauty products with long-wearing formulas that have been developed with an exclusive blend of natural oils, including avocado, coconut, grapeseed, jojoba, and olive. By purchasing the lipstick products such as Gloss Ceiling, Pantsuit Pink, or Politically Pout, which retail for $24 each, or for $64 as a bundle, beauty consumers have the opportunity to choose which women’s rights organization they want to support. Also, the 20 percent contribution is set as a reminder of the fact that women in the U.S. still get paid 20 percent less than men for doing the same work.
