Coastal Salt & Soul holistic bath and body company has announced it has been acquired by Celebrate Beauty Brands, LLC, a newly formed subsidiary of Beauty Partners, LLC. Effective immediately, the brand’s corporate office will relocate to Hauppauge, NY.
The brand hopes the acquisition will help accelerate the growth of the brand in the specialty bath and body market through an expansion of North American, and eventually global, distribution. Coastal Salt & Soul is known for its sea-to-skin bodycare products, including a collection of butters, creams, and scrubs. Industry veterans Bruce Kowalsky and Barry Shields will helm the brands upcoming expanded distribution methods, while brand creator Alisa Marie Beyer will remain the team’s chief innovation officer. She will also stay on as a minority owner, as well as early investors Fredrick Fogelman and Teresa Shultz Fogelman.
“With Coastal’s existing portfolio of hugely popular butters, hand creams, and scrubs, as well as the development of new products and scents, we anticipate 2018 revenues between $15 - $20 million” said Kowalsky, co-founder of Beauty Partners, LLC. “Together with Alisa and the rest of the team, we’re ready to start product development and innovation on new SKUs and consumer offerings.”
Byers agreed with Kowalsky, stating, “I’m confident that this sale is the single best path to provide Coastal Salt & Soul with the necessary resources to continue to fund and scale the business as it enters its next phase of growth. Celebrate Beauty Brands is extremely well positioned to build on our already strong momentum and incredible consumer loyalty through increased customer wins and new retailer partnerships.”
Celebrate Beauty Brands is a newly formed partnership with Beauty Partners LLC, and exclusive manufacturing, sales, and marketing company for prestige and mass beauty brands. The company was formed to exclusively manage the Coastal Salt & Soul brand. Beauty partners will retain majority ownership in the new Celebrate Beauty Brands.
