It’s not too late to enter to win $5,000 from Fora Financial, which aims to foster and support the small business industry. The company launched a Facebook contest, called Project Small Biz, at the beginning of the month that runs through January 19 for fans of the page. The small business with the most likes wins the grand prize, which could help start the year with extra funding. Fora Financial is familiar with the beauty industry and has provided more than $27 million in funding for businesses in the salon and cosmetics sector since its inception in 2008.
