The International Spa Association (ISPA) has announced Dr. Bryan Williams, D.M. as the recipient of the 2019 ISPA Dedicated Contributor Award. Williams has been a member of the association since his first talks with ISPA members in 2006. His work has included facilitating workshops and delivering keynote presentations worldwide for various companies.
“Bryan’s passion to inspire leaders and elevate the importance of providing unparalleled customer service has left a lasting impression on the International Spa Association,” says Lynne McNees, president of ISPA. “We are grateful for his continued support and dedication to the ISPA community.”
Leadership effectiveness and service excellence are two ideas that Williams is known to focus on, and it is apparent through his achievements. He is the founder of the BW Leadership Academy, the STRONG Leadership Institute, and the BWTV training series. Before becoming a professional speaker, Williams served as the global corporate director of training and organizational effectiveness for the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company.
“When I think of ISPA, I think of family," says Williams. "For 13 amazing years, I have been fortunate to work with and serve alongside this amazing community of professionals. This ISPA Dedicated Contributor Award has truly left me speechless. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity and privilege to be of service.”
To receive the award, the recipient must demonstrate active membership and leadership through contribution to the growth of the association, as well as assist in the promotion of the association, its mission, and vision. Williams will be presented with the award at the 2019 ISPA Conference and Expo at The Venetian in Las Vegas, September 11-13.
