Éminence Organic Skin Care Celebrates 5 Million Trees Planted

Éminence Organic Skin Care Forests for the Future initiativeMarch marked a milestone of 5 million trees planted for Éminence Organic Skin Care and its Forests for the Future initiative. Éminence partnered with global tree planting organization Trees for the Future in November 2012 to create the Forests for the Future program, which plants a tree in a developing country for every retail product sold. Since then,  the brand has planted trees in 19 developing countries around the world, including Burundi, Ghana, Tanzania, and Uganda. This initiative also provides local communities with the education and tools to create their own tree nurseries, allowing them to support their basic needs while also benefitting the environment and fighting deforestation. “We’re dedicated to helping create a sustainable planet through our partnership with Trees for the Future, offering farmers in communities around the world an opportunity to maintain their own sustainable business and feed their families” says Boldijarre Koronczay, president of Éminence Organic Skin Care. “Reaching this incredible milestone of 5 million trees planted only strengthens our mission for a positive impact around the world, the environment, and the fight against deforestation.”

To celebrate the philanthropic milestone and bring awareness to this important cause, Éminence produced an inspiring short animated video. For every share of the video on social media with the hashtag #weplanttrees, the brand will plant a tree with a goal of 100,000 trees by the end of the month.
