Green Spa Network Announces 2010 Congress At Westin Riverfront In Vail, Co

The Green Spa Network – a nonprofit trade association that promotes the natural connection between personal wellbeing, economic sustainability and the health of the planet -- announced during last week’s LOHAS Forum in Boulder that their third annual congress will be held at the LEED Certified Westin Riverfront and Spa Anjali in Vail, Colorado, October 3-7, 2010, with a theme of “Elevate Your Vision; the Sky is the Limit!”   www.greenspanetwork.org

The goal of the 3-day gathering is to create an action-oriented, high-impact event designed to forge vital connections and produce realistic initiatives that can be implemented on a personal, organizational and business level.  Attention will also be given to expanding market reach for members and continuing to build financial health for GSN.  Speakers and presentations at GSN’s Fall Congress will feature visionary leaders and experts in greening and sustainability as well as notables from the health, beauty, travel, food, energy and media industries.

“It is appropriate that we hold this event at a LEED certified hotel and spa like Westin Riverfront located in the heart of one of the most beautiful valleys in the Rocky Mountains.” explains Michael Stusser, Green Spa Network Chairman. “The dynamic natural environment -- combined with the hotel’s organic, locally sourced menus, guest rooms that are cleaned with natural products, decorated with low VOC paints and equipped with energy saving appliances -- underscores the theme of our congress as well as the kind of practices we are encouraging for our members.”

Besides strategic sessions, a variety of presentations and plenty of networking time, the congress schedule will also include time for members to “practice what they preach” by getting out in nature and experiencing the outdoor activities so bountiful in the area, as well as time to take advantage of the spa’s special two-for-one treatment rates offered to attendees.
