Green Spa Network Introduces New Sustainable Self-Care Membership Option

The nonprofit trade association Green Spa Network (GSN) has announced a new membership category, Vital People, for wellness practitioners, students, and consumers who wish to grow their connection between self-care and Earth care.

Developed to better serve GSN’s rapidly growing community, the Vital People membership will benefit individuals who want to learn how to improve their own self-care, foster their relationship with the planet, and live sustainability, for an annual fee of $39.

“Our goal is to promote sustainable self-care practices and bring that education to the front lines of the spa industry,” says Joanna Roche, executive director of the Green Spa Network. “Learning to care for self without impacting the planet is critical, and making the time to do so needs to be a priority for personal health and longevity.”

Vital People members will benefit from access to educational webinars, a member listing and directory, green industry trends, news, and reports, a job board, a quarterly self-care e-newsletter with tips on sustainable living, self-care check-ins via text and email, and more. In 2019, Vital People members will be invited to the GSN’s first Self-Care Summit, for which details will be announced later this fall.

Other GSN membership options include an Associate membership (free for everyone), Industry Partner membership ($99 per year for partnering nonprofit organizations), Green Leader membership ($390 per year for a single location with up to three participating staff members), and Corporate membership ($990 a year for up to 12 locations with up to six participating staff each).
