Michelle Peck and Terme di Saturnia partner to offer seminar and event Aug 21-27

SATURNIA, ITALY – Located in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma region of Italy, Terme di Saturnia Spa & Golf Resort is proud to announce a unique partnership with one of the world’s leading celebrity facialist, Michelle Peck of Intraceuticals. On August 21-27, 2010, the resort will host an on-site seminar directed by Ms. Peck in which she will divulge some of Hollywood’s best kept beauty secrets and provide an educational overview of the oxygen-based products and treatments offered by Intraceuticals. In addition, Michelle Peck will offer her Oxygen Infusion Treatments to resort guests. Terme di Saturnia daily room rates range from € 280 to € 410, weekly rates range from €1,155 to 1,645.

Intraceutical Oxygen Infusion, which is administered by Ms. Peck, is a unique treatment that delivers hyaluronic acid deep into the dermis in a natural way, without pain caused by the use of needles or injections. The treatment deeply hydrates, leaving the face and décolleté radiant and firm with a visible lift and immediate toning. Michelle Peck serves as the facialist of choice for some of Hollywood’s biggest stars including Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, Eva Longoria and Gwyneth Paltrow. Her treatments have become a fixture in the world of beauty and can be seen on the red carpet, silver screen, photo shoots and international runways.

“We are thrilled to partner with one of the world’s most sought-after and trusted authority on oxygen facials to offer such a relevant and interesting seminar and beauty treatment,” said Carla Milos, General Manager of Terme di Saturnia. “Michelle’s holistic, balanced and ‘healthy’ philosophy has made for a seamless partnership between our resort and Intraceuticals” as our spa consistently strives to provide our guest with offering focused on overall well-being.

A true medical spa with a staff of 33 therapists and five medical doctors, Terme di Saturnia features therapies for beauty, stress management and thermal and hydrotherapy treatments based on the area’s unique thermal waters which date back to the Etruscan period.  The 3,000-year-old thermal pool has been flowing continuously into the natural crater nestled at the center of the resort, containing precious minerals and salts which were found to have healing effects on aches and pains of the ancient Romans.

The luxury resort, which is a member of Leading Hotels of the World and the exclusive Virtuoso, offers daily and weekly rates that include use of the resort’s thermal pools, Roman Bath with Sauna and Steam bath, and thermal water falls.  The rates also include a guided morning hike, use of the gym, not including classes, and a reserved deck chair and sun umbrella in the pool’s park.  In addition, guests are also invited to take advantage of the resort’s newly-opened championship golf course.
