Nail Alliance has acquired Salt of the Earth, a natural bath and body product company, to expand its spa category. Derived from nature, all of the salt found in Salt Lake City-based Salt of the Earth’s products is hand-harvested from evaporation pools around the Great Salt Lake, and each product is custom blended and hand mixed with all-natural ingredients. According to company officials, Nail Alliance chose to obtain Salt of the Earth because its handcrafted quality products, customization, and experience-focused ideology was in line with the company’s philosophy to focus on giving clients’ exceptional and personalized experiences using only the best products. Through the partnership, Paul Heslop, owner and CEO of Salt of the Earth, will become part of the Nail Alliance team. “The spa industry is growing quickly, especially the specialized pedicure services offered in many spas and salons,” says Gari-Dawn Tingler, chief financial officer and vice president of Nail Alliance. “This new undertaking is a great fit for us, as we always aim to create and offer high-end quality products for category expansion and overall growth of the company.”
