The Professional Beauty Association to Hold Distributor Executive Conference

The Professional Beauty Association (PBA) has announced its fourth annual 2015 PBA Distributor Executive Conference (DEC). Taking place April 8 to 9, in Hammond, LA, the conference will provide education and networking opportunities for emerging, mid-sized, and large distributor companies. Hosted by Neill Corporation, the event will feature guest speakers, including author and business consultant Dirk Beveridge. Open to PBA members and non-members, attendees will learn about current industry issues and trends, including sales manager training, planning for future growth, and maintaining control of distribution in uncertain times. Below are a list of the featured sessions:

Train the Trainer for Sales: Commissions and bonuses might get salespeople working harder, but if they don't have the latest ideas, tools, and training it won't matter. The key to improving sales is in leading and training your people to excel. Sales’ coaching for managers is a "train the trainer" program specifically designed for team leaders who want to take their organization's performance to the next level.

INNOVATE! How Successful Distributors Lead Change in Disruptive Times | Speaker: Dirk Beveridge: The professional beauty industry has seen many changes over the past several years-consolidation, mergers, emerging companies, and a new customer base, causing us to rethink the traditional distribution model. Beveridge will speak about his new book, INNOVATE!, and provide distributors with the will, energy, and focus to lead change in today's disruptive time. The information will inspire distributors to drive mediocrity from their business, change the rules, and break free from the status quo.

Panel Discussion: "Taking the Next Step" featuring PBA's Distributor Experts: When considering growth, many uncertainties come to mind, such as how to manage, fund, and organize the pieces that are needed to support the process. PBA's expert panel of distributors will answer questions about the steps and thought processes needed when taking the next step and help navigate the road ahead.
