Rancho La Puerta Uses Local Ingredients to Develop New Product Line

Rancho La Puerta (Tecate, Mexico) is using its gorgeous Baja California location to its advantage with the development of the resort’s first ever face, skin, and bodycare line, La Puerta Core Essentials. Inspired by the resort’s natural locale, La Puerta Core Essentials honors the fragrant gardens and settings of the ranch and its six-acre Tres Estrellas organic farm.

“Now guests can embrace the essence of The Ranch experience at home,” says Roberto Arjona, CEO and general manager of Rancho La Puerta. “The collection provides simple everyday rituals with pure face, body and sun care products that come from a place our guests love and trust.”

Available both at Rancho La Puerta Spa and online, La Puerta Core Essentials products contain sustainably harvested, wild-crafted, and eco-certified ingredients as well as blends of plant-based medicines and aromatherapy. The line features products like Calendula and Chamomile Herbal Face Serum, Pomegranate Enzyme Masks, and an Herb and Flower Exfoliant, among others. The skincare line boasts 37 products including an Organic Lavender Hydrating Mist and Calendula Moisture Crème; while the body and hair line includes a Lavender Rosemary Shampoo and Conditioner, Lavender Sage Hand and Body Wash and Lotion as well as a variety of body oils with scent options of lavender, eucalyptus, lemongrass, mountain sage, and rosemary.

Ideal for summer is the line’s Sun Restore collection, which includes the Recovery Gel with Aloe Vera and Lavender, and the Rehydrator Lotion with Rosehips and Aloe, designed to soothe the skin after a day in the sun. The new Xocolatl line sweetens the collection with Chocolate Body Oil, Body Butter, and Sugar Body Scrub using key ingredients like organic cocoa butter, cocoa essential oil and organic vanilla extract.
