Seabourn and Steiner Launch a Spa and Wellness Program

The Spa at Seabourn The luxury cruise line Seabourn has partnered with The Onboard Spa by Steiner, to offer a mindful living program led by integrative medicine pioneer Andrew Weil, Ph.D.The new wellness program will provide guests with a holistic spa and wellness experience that integrates physical, social, environmental, and spiritual wellbeing. The new Wellness Guide, a certified yoga and meditation practitioner, will lead the program and inspire and educate participants through various complimentary classes and gatherings throughout the voyage. The wellness program is scheduled to kick off with Weil sailing on Seabourn Encore's inaugural cruise in January 2017, and then it will be rolled out throughout the entire Seabourn fleet, including Seabourn Ovation in the spring of 2018. Weil also plans to sail on a different Seabourn ship each year and deliver a 60-minute lecture for guests, as well as offer small informal group discussions. Integral to the wellness program are enriching complimentary Mind and Body seminars created by Weil and Steiner's Wellness professionals. Based on Weil's teachings, the seminars are designed to educate guests on the fields of the healing arts. Each presentation will aim to empower guests with ideas and practices that enhance wellbeing and increase the awareness of connection between mind, body, environment, and wellness. "This new wellness program will offer our guests an experience they simply won't find anywhere else in the industry," says Richard Meadows, president of Seabourn. "By partnering with Dr. Weil, a pioneer in integrative medicine, we will deliver an even greater degree of mind and body programs that ensure you can break away, relax, and rejuvenate while you travel with us."
