Spa magazine captivated the media with the celebration of its annual Spring Media Event in Los Angeles on Earth Day, April 22, 2010. With A-list media professionals in attendance, the event presented the spa industry’s hottest places, products and trendsetters who demonstrated their latest offerings at the Montage Beverly Hills. Spa magazine is published by Bonnier Corp.
In honor of Earth Day, Spa magazine chose to support a charity dedicated to helping countries in need. The selected charity was Charity: Water, a non-profit organization that brings clean, safe drinking water to people in developing nations and raises funds for sustainable water solutions. Spa magazine representatives held a raffle for attendees at the event to raise money for this worthwhile charity and encouraged media and sponsors to donate to this cause. Many sponsors contributed prizes to the Charity: Water raffle including Spa Montage, Montage Beverly Hills, Ojai Valley Inn & Spa, The Oaks at Ojai, The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Miami and Mii amo, a destination spa at Enchantment.
