TAC | The Assistant Company, a spa software provider, has purchased www.wellnessbooking.com. The German booking platform is an online search engine featuring discounted wellness and beauty treatments within Austria, Germany, and Switzerland. The site allows users to book services to their desired spa providers, health clubs, and beauty studios. "We've been delighted by the beginning of the innovative www.wellnessbooking.com concept,” says Thomas Roessler, managing director at TAC | The Assistant Company. “Through the acquisition, we can add extra value in the spa and wellness industry offer in the booking platform represents another distribution channel which is on par with the direct target group, buying strong recreation and relaxation seekers.” Since 2012, both companies have been working together to implement an interface between the Austria-based software and the booking platform.
