NYX Cosmetics announced the appointment of Cristina Bartolucci as chief creative director for the company. Bartolucci will work along-side NYX's Founder and Chief Creative Officer, Toni K., to provide leadership and support in the areas of product development and overall brand strategy. "I couldn't be more excited to join the team at NYX Cosmetics," says Bartolucci. "Toni K has done a tremendous job building a dynamic and innovative brand, and I am thrilled to bring my own experience and vision to help creatively grow the company to the next level."
Bartolucci is a veteran of the beauty industry with more than 20 years of experience. She began her career as a celebrity makeup artist and most recently served as vice president of brand relations for Preferred Display, where she consulted on the design and development of point of purchase displays for beauty retailers. Bartolucci is also the co-founder of, DuWop Cosmetics, a cult brand responsible for innovative products such as Lip Venom.
