One of the first movies I remember seeing when I was a little girl is "The Great Muppet Caper," which I considered (and still do consider), a true masterpiece. In fact, it was my favorite movie for years. Three years, to be precise, until it was replaced by "The Muppets Take Manhattan." Who didn't shed a tear or two during that poignant scene in the diner when Kermit sings, "Together Again," while longing for his friends? Or how about when Miss Piggy gets her purse snatched in Central Park? I could go on, but my obvious point is that I'm a big fan of everything Muppets. So, you can imagine my delight when I heard about OPI's new holiday collection inspired by the new Muppets film due on November 23rd. In typical OPI fashion, the 12 lacquers in the line each have a punny name, such as Animal-istic, a bright red; Wocka Wocka!, a deep berry purple; and Fresh Frog of Bel Air, a glittery green. If you are looking for me Thanksgiving weekend, you will find me sporting a Gettin Miss Piggy With It manicure before hitting up the theater to watch (spolier alert) Kermit try to reunite the gang in order to stage The Greatest Muppet Telethon Ever to raise $10 million needed to save the Muppet Theater. Amazing!
