PBA and Great Clips Partner to Promote CUT IT OUT

The Professional BeautyAssociation (PBA) and Great Clips announced a strategic partnership and a $100,000 sponsorship of CUT IT OUT, which with the support of salons, spas, schools, and beauty professionals is dedicated to raising awareness and stopping domestic violence across the U.S. Announced at the 2012 North American Hairstyling Awards (NAHA), Great Clips will become the Premium Sponsor of CUT IT OUT. The company's financial commitment will enable PBA to create a new CUT IT OUT website, provide ongoing outreach, print and maintain collateral materials, and develop additional marketing initiatives aimed at educating beauty professionals on domestic violence. Great Clips will also promote CUT IT OUT to their nationwide network of more than 3,000 salons and 30,000+ stylists, further aiding the programs visibility and giving women and men access to information on how to seek help. "Domestic violence continues to be an issue for far too many women and men," says Kim Schottler, director of industry relations for Great Clips. "Great Clips is proud to promote CUT IT OUT and hopes that the connection our customers have with our stylists will enable those in need to safely seek help."
