PBA Announces New Leadership Appointments

The Professional Beauty Association (PBA) has announced new appointments to its Board of Directors for the 2013/2014 terms, which began Sept. 1. PBA's Board and Councils are comprised of beauty professionals who volunteer their time to advance PBA and the industry at large. Scott Buchanan (pictured left), owner of the Scott J Salons & Spas, will lead the PBA Board of Directors as chairman while Reuben Carranza, CEO of Wella, The Salon Professional Division of Procter & Gamble, will serve as vice chair. Buchanan's appointment marks the second time a salon owner has been elected as chairman of PBA's Board. "I am honored and grateful to be able to serve with so many distinguished industry leaders who volunteer their time for the betterment of our industry, says Buchanan. “I look forward to continuing to build on the extraordinary services and benefits PBA provides to our industry and all those who work in it.”
