How many years have you been involved in the spa industry?14 years
What was the path that led you into the spa industry?
I started in Human Resources and Canyon Ranch in Tucson, Mel Zuckerman's vision and commitment to the spa industry led me to the desire to do more in the field. Dr. Gary Frost from Canyon Ranch taught me the way. I have had some amazing mentors along the way.
What is your favorite place in the whole world?
I would have to say that the Mayan Ruins, Tulum and Chicen Itza have all spiritually touched me more than any place in teh world. Being Mexican American I really felt in touch with my true roots.
If you could have any profession in the world, other than what you do now, what would you be?
There would be nothing else I could see myself doing.
What is your go-to spa treatment?
A good cleansing facial!
What is your proudest accomplishment?
Finally getting married.
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
Ok, ladies don't hate me, but I wish I could keep weight on easier! Yeah I know, as I said don't hate me.
Two things about yourself we don’t know
I have a 17 year old beautiful daughter, once upon a time I was a police officer!
What is your motto or concept that you live by?
Do what you love and love what you do.
What is your most treasured possession?
A watch from my father given to him by my brother who lost his life in Vietnam.
