Primavera Life Co-Founder Receives Honor

Primavera Life co-founder Ute Leube has been named the 2012 German Business Woman of the Year by Veuve Clicquot. Announced at gala in Berlin in May, Leube was honored with this highly sought-after prize for her entrepreneurial skills and her ability to motivate and inspire others. Now in its 26th year in Germany, the esteemed award champions the success of business women worldwide who share the ambitious, entrepreneurial qualities, and ideals epitomized by Madame Clicquot. Widow of the famed Champagne business owner, François Clicquot, Madame Clicquot was one of the first women to lead a company of men.
Ute has been named winner in recognition of her performance in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility and her commitment to sustainability, a focus of this year’s awards. Primavera Life, which produces certified natural, plant-based skincare for the brands Primavera and Amala, has an ongoing commitment to creating the highest quality, proven-effective products that embrace a conscious, green, wellness-focused lifestyle. Following her award, Leube will take part in the International Business Woman Forum at the Veuve Clicquot Maison in Reims in October. She will also visit the Manoir de Verzy and the House’s vineyards, where she will have a vine baptized in her name recognizing her legacy and life-long relationship with Veuve Clicquot.
