The Professional Beauty Association announced the student winners to attend Beacon 2013, an educational event part of PBA Beauty to take place on July 13 – 16 in Las Vegas. The 100 winners and 200 honorable mentions‑evaluated by a panel of PBA members, including manufacturers, distributors and licensed professionals‑ were chosen from 875 applicants based on a professional portfolio, creative marketing pieces, and a strong resume.
Attendees of Beacon are the nation’s top cosmetology students, who will learn the business side of the industry and valuable insights on marketing, networking, operations, and leadership at the event. PBA aims to provide the students a foundation for a successful future in the industry.
