Sexy Hair recently held a two-day event to raise money for its nonprofit partner, Look Good…Feel Better (LGFB), a national public service program helping patients struggling with the appearance-related challenges of cancer treatment. The event raised more than $41,000 that will go directly to the nonprofit. “We had steady traffic both days of the sale and it was great to see so many local Los Angeles-area residents come by to support a great cause,” says Karl-Heinz Pitsch, president and CEO of Sexy Hair. “From the proceeds of the sale combined with our three Caring is Sexy fundraising projects, we’ll be able to make another healthy donation to Look Good...Feel Better this year.” Sexy Hair created the partnership with LGFB in 2010, and this year launched, “Caring is Sexy,” three fundraising projects that support this great cause. Additionally, Sexy Hair is selling limited-edition cans of select top-selling products and contributing a portion of the proceeds to LGFB.
